Within Nassau there's beauty in the skies,
Betwixt the trees there's nature's big surprise,
Tropic birds are singing,
and trade-wind breezes blowing
all this to me such gaiety would bring.

You'll want Nassau when life is dark and blue,
the fireflies will bring light back to you,
When the day is fading,
Then you too will be saying,
"I'll take Nassau and make Nassau my home."
